Nicknamed the "Little Smokies" because of the area's resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, Brown County encompasses nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges and fog-shrouded ravines. Glaciers from the most recent ice ages stopped short of the "hills o' Brown," but their meltwaters helped create the narrow ridges, steep slopes and deep gullies of Brown County State Park. the park is beautiful. The children love the lodge and the water park is awesome. there is something for everyone.
Hiking for all ages and experiences!
Love camping or staying at the lodge here Specially in the fall. It’s our happy place! Hayrides very Friday and Saturday night from I believe Memorial Day weekend until the end of Oct or first of Nov..
