Nicknamed the "Little Smokies" because of the area's resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, Brown County encompasses nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges and fog-shrouded ravines. Glaciers from the most recent ice ages stopped short of the "hills o' Brown," but their meltwaters helped create the narrow ridges, steep slopes and deep gullies of Brown County State Park. We love this park for camping! We have a 23 foot travel trailer. The spaces for camping are wonderful, somewhat private and wooded. We also love that there are plenty of TV channels available with our antenna and we have cell service. This park is one of our favorites!

This place is just amazing!! Awesome to come enjoy the outdoors, plenty of things to do around and outside of the park!! Our families favorite place to visit and camp!!

Love to take my kids and go hiking. We enjoy the trails and my youngest kids love riding the ponies.
