Nicknamed the "Little Smokies" because of the area's resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, Brown County encompasses nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges and fog-shrouded ravines. Glaciers from the most recent ice ages stopped short of the "hills o' Brown," but their meltwaters helped create the narrow ridges, steep slopes and deep gullies of Brown County State Park. We had a blast the only problem we had was people complaining we had to many tents on 4 lots, people keep your nose out of our business, we are allowed, so DNR showed up ask how many spots laughed and left. Then the website for indiana state park most of messed up on campsites 1 was wrong but all good. Otherwise we love it here
We really enjoyed the horseback riding at the saddle barn, great staff and they take great care of their horses. We will be back in the future
Absolutely loved my time here!!! :D Hope to make the drive from Texas again!
