I have been a patient of Dr. Okoro twice now, 9 years apart, for both colonoscopy and endoscopy, and her standard of care was excellent on both occasions. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and answered thoroughly my several questions. I tend to get nervous with treatments such as these, and Dr. Okoro not only recognized my anxiety, but also went out of her way to help me feel at ease. Dr. Okoro cares about her patients, and it shows.

Like many other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with Dr. Okoro. She was condescending, authoritative, and dismissive. None of the traits that you would hope for when seeking care. Trying to get her to provide substantive answers to my questions was like pulling teeth. It was so bad that I walked out of the appointment. On top of that, I waited almost 2 hours to be seen without any apology from her. Do yourself a favor and find someone who cares. I was very pleased with my office experience. Everybody at the front desk was super nice, friendly and helpful. I have experienced other doctor’s offices where eveyone seems to be in a hurry and is not in a good mood and this is definitely not the case here! Everyone seemed to be happy to be there and wanted to help in any way they could. Everyone was smiling! Dr. Karim was as nice as can be and was very down to earth. Dr. Brown is attentive and encouraging. He cares for his patients and listens to them. He provided me with options and let me choose my care.

Went there doubled over in pain and found him to be disinterested and uncaring. Offered meds but spoke down to me, was dismissive about my concerns and treated me like an insolent child. I went in crying with pain and left crying with frustration and anger. Terrible care, I’d rather suffer my pain at home.

Will not return calls, other staff will not help to schedule an appointment. This has been going on since march 2024. I had to follow up with Gillian to get the paper work to give to other facilities. She would not schedule cat scans or get other doctors the correct paperwork to give approvals. I had to get the paperwork and hand deliver it to each of them. It is now August and for two weeks she will it return calls. This place will give you an ulcer. Find somewhere else, it’s not worth it.
