SO hard to find good BBQ in chelsea. Why did RUB go out of business? Jimmy's is ok, loud crowd. Good time with the guys. BBQ is ok too, burgers are good
I just don't get it – A lot of people like this place, but I've been by a few times and just don't get the appeal. Maybe if you're a southerner and like the particular kind of food? It certainly doesn't have world class beer like some of the other places in the neighborhood, and I've never been a fan of the food, or the crowd for that matter. The worst is when they get alumni groups, and you feel like you're back at the frat house. Maybe that's it; you have to be two years or less out of college to dig this place.
Awesome – I loooove coming here whenever I go to the MSG! Such good food OMG Im telling you guys if your ever around you should stop by and I agree with the guy who said they have the best Nachos mmm! If youre a nacho fan you should def try theirs and they have very good mixed drinks too, will not be dissappointed great chillout spot. The only thing is it gets kinda too busy.

My Toy Croc – Sick location before any event at the garden. I went before the Professional Bull Riding Show and had a great time with friends. It was an excellent spot to enjoy some pickens and drinks. I munched on some yummy chicken wings and fries with their delectable array of BBQ sauces. Don't forget about the fish bowl with a toy croc!!! Whats funner than that. Then proceeded to cross the street to the garden, whats better than that!
Great Delicious Fun! – This place is a great hangout for meeting friends and grabbing some delicious burgers or hot chicken wings! The prices are affordable- grab a quesadilla or some awesome BBQ wings for just 10 bucks! The service is quick and pleasant. It's usually packed in which makes for a fun, lively environment. Perfect for watching the game and hanging out. Will definitely be back!
Go to Grub Near the Garden – I recently hit up Brother's Jimmies before a Knicks game at MSG. The drinks were awesome and the food was even better. The bartenders and waitstaff were fun, welcoming and entertaining. It was so good we went back after the game too! Get the BBQ wings, brisket and plantation punch!
The Search for Great BBQ Continues – North Carolina style BBQ. In the quest to find good BBQ in New York City, I've been let down more often than not. This place is okay. Cool decor, fun vibe, and the food is well, alright. I don't know how you can have a BBQ restaurant and look me dead in the eye and tell me you don't have jalapenos. Awful experience all around – I?ve been patronizing Brother Jimmy?s, specifically the 2nd Avenue location for over 10 years, beginning when I was in graduate school, with a group of friends to watch college and NFL games.
