I was very interested in a vehicle they had in their lot and was trying to get financed but was told that I couldn’t. They said they were going to keep working on the finacing and that they would get back to me. The same day I tried to get financed on my own and with in 20 minutes had got approved for a loan. I also had another dealership offer to buy the car out right from Brooks and finance it to me. What can I say? Here it goes: I bought a 1994 Suburban and a 2003 Dodge Caravan in the same month. Financing was easy on the Caravan through Oregon Community Credit Union, and I paid cash for the Suburban. The owner noticed a "tick" sound in the Suburban and offered to replace the exhaust manifold (which he did later at no cost). Although I have had to replace quite a few items on my Suburban, it has never left me on the side of the road dead. : I went and had the intent to purchase a vehicle from them, I was approved for the loan and had a set up time to pick up the vehicle. They ran my credit 4 times after I told them don't run more then twice. I told them my situation and that I was getting this car loan to buy a house. I would of just bought it with cash if I didn't need the bump on my credit score. Back on December 26, 2016 went in with my Daughter & son-in-law to purchase a Mazda CX-7. Since it was a holiday weekend banks were closed so the financing couldn't be completed. I put a $100 to hold the car until the next day when the banks would be open. That night did some more research on the car and found numerous problems.
