The staff I’ve met at Brookdale are friendly, and most genuinely seem to care. The main spaces are clean and well-maintained. Like any assisted living facility, there is a high rate of staff turnover, but that is common in the industry. The housekeeping in my loved one's room could be improved, likely due to staffing challenges. However, I have been assured that this issue is being addressed. The director, Sarah, is responsive.
My father has been a resident at Brookdale for about 1 1/2 years. He has made friends there and likes the staff. The staff has always been attentive to his needs and notify me if there is any concerns about his status. I am very pleased about his stay at this facility.
My mom had stays in a few other facilities for recovery from some issues. We were so disappointed. Brookdale has been great. She is so happy and the staff is so good to her. They have a lot of great events and activities she has enjoyed. Any issues that come up are taken care of promptly. Highly recommend!
My wife has been a resident in the memory care unit for two yearsnow. The first several months were very difficult for me and her. However, the staff was very supportive, gave advice, and comfort. They assured me that what we were going through was normal. My wife is doing quite well now. I feel a lot has to do with the care she has gotten. They have encouraged me as well.
