We've been with this Brookdale for 4.5 years and love it. On our tour we felt it was a down-to-earth environment with very nice facilities and and apartments, and a big seller for me was Personalized Living (PL). This is in-house care that we could request if needed, instead of hiring an outside nursing agency. We did use PL for over a year and now have transitioned to a higher level of care, but I still see the same staff faces and hear the same voices over the phone, indicating a favorable place to work. It was the best decision my mom made after my dad passed. Everyone told her to wait at least a year to make any major decisions, and if she would have she would have missed out on 6 months of fun and new friends! Please don't let your loved ones wait.
