I have been there several times to visit my aunt...the place appearance looks good but once you enter through the hall way you smell urine and see dilapidated walls...the laundry room is a disgrace it's filthy and unfinished ceiling with expose electrical wire appearing due to leak issues...what about the dining area???...limited staff, not up to required nutritional standards value and guidelines...constantly out of basic food and essential things such napkins and linens.
Found out it is up to the family to get 3 quotes to have the rotten wood repaired in her shower. There is a big hold in the wall. Beware of this place.
My mother loves her apartment at Brookdale Mandarin but the dining room is unacceptable. She often has to wait for an hour to be served, food runs out frequently, and the quality is poor. The servers and cooks never stay long because of working condition. Until they make major improvements, I would recommend going elsewhere. Brookdale management - if you are listening, please do something!
What happy people there, some have lived there as long as 7yrs! Testament to their care & commitment!
