My Father has mild Parkinson's. After looking at all our options we decided Broadway is an excellent community for those looking to have all the care they need in one location. The Independent Living for active Retired folks offers lots of activities and opportunities to be as social or private as you choose. When the times come that you might need Assisted Living it's only a short move from one side of the property to another. And for when you need more assistance they have Skilled and LTC on Property. There are plenty of activities and social opportunities if a person takes advantage. Staff are available to help you choose what you need or guide you. It has given me the opportunity to meet some very interesting people. If a person needs help or has concerns, someone will guide you in the direction needed. I have found Brookdale Cityview has met my needs over the past two and one-half years.

Cannot stand this place. Their staff obviously hates their job and has no intent to ever put the patient first. I pulled the emergency cord when my dad fell in the bathroom and it took them 5 min and 22 sec to even respond. By that time my dad was crying in pain and I had to help him up by myself. No one wears a name tag so you can't report them. They give him food/drink he's not supposed to have because they obviously don't know what a diabetic diet means. My husband is frequently ill and is back at Broadway. For the third time, we may be going back to the ER because Broadway wants to take days and days doing nothing as my husband becomes more ill. They do not even follow instructions given to them by their resident physicians. I can't believe the lack of care given at this place!!!!
