RecommendedGood staff. Treat residents well in independent living-dunno about nursing area. Food is ok-not great but better than most residential facilities.

My Mother lived at Brookdale for several years before passing away February 24, 2017. The facility and the staff is superb. HOWEVER, in September my brother was notified that there was an overpayment on my Mother's account. We have been trying since September to obtain a refund. Frankly, at this point I don't care if the problem is at Cityview or the headquarters. It has been 10 months, and the corporation still has our money. I call this ‘Home’ and appreciate all the helpful amenities and activities they have available to all our residents.
I have been there not once but twice! The rehab was what I was needing after knee surgery each time. Between the rehab people and nursing staff, they had me up and going before too long. I am from the Abilene area, but had my surgery done in Ft Worth. So I really needed to get better just to go home and start the major physical therapy! Thanks to everyone from the techs up to the Director of Clinical Services! Thanks Linda!
My mom is there after suffering an ischemic stroke and a fractured vertebrae in her neck. The staff is friendly but does not seem to p have the experience or skills to keep patients truly safe. My mom is on a honey thick diet and the staff repeatedly seemed to not be aware of this even though it was posted on the wall. This makes for a serious choking hazard.
