This place has some of funnest salt and pepper shakers. Every table has a unique set. We tried the dinner size (12 inch) Legit Philly cheesesteak. It was delicious and saucy. The bread was well toasted. The side salad with the ginger citrus dressing was very refreshing on a hot day. I also like the fried onion strings on the salad. The fries were a bit disappointing. Everything about Brood and Barley was top notch. I got The Umami Bomb, a Bison burger with fried Portobello mushroom, Swiss cheese and their fixings. That was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I was eating alone so I sat at the bar. Which has plenty of room to eat and not feel crowded. The atmosphere was inviting, a place where you can enjoy a great meal, without feeling rushed or have to talk over the music to hear. Great pub in Argenta, never had poor service, menu has lots of good options, especially if you like their plays on philly cheese steaks. Great drink menu and whiskey selection.
Delicious Old Fashioned’s when they are not busy.
