If I could give this place zero stars, I would. For starters, every time I would go into the one in Greenfield, I would have to wait forever for someone to come to the counter. I was a loyal Total Tan customer until they closed. Bronze Bay was the only one in town besides planet fitness. Second, I purchased a brand new bottle of lotion that was $85. My mother in law was going on vacation and looking to tan. She lives in Knightstown and this is the closest tanning salon to her so she called me since I have tanned for years and asked my opinions then went in. The staff was terribly rude to her and fought about how she should tan while she was standing on the counter. They made fun of how pale she was and told her she couldn’t spray tan because of it. I have used Bronze Bay for awhile now and am overall satisified. I was a dedicated Total Tan customer before they closed (as I live in Shelbyville). I started using Bronze Bay in Greenfield after trying every other tanning salon between Shelbyville & 65th/Binford Area, where I work. I decided Bronze Bay was the best quality tan for the money. Bulbs always seem to be in good working order & appear to be changed more often than some other salons. The rooms, beds, bathroom & salon itself are very clean. The downfall is the time... read more

Staff very nice but Bronze Bay disappoints over and over. I was going to go back since my membership at Total Tan just expired but I just read BBs spray tan is down again? Do they give a discount memberships when this happens, nope. So, I'll just drive the 15-20 to Total Tan in Indy and at least I can always count on them having what I need and paid for in working order. Thanks for helping me decide. Sad too bc I'd love to support a local business. SMH.
