Tried to make an appointment here after my doctor referred me. I am 26 weeks pregnant and have an undiagnosed autoimmune disorder that looks a lot like SLE (lupus) from several different pieces of evidence. Anyone who knows anything about rheumatology, knows post partum recovery is the possibly the worst time for someone with an autoimmune disorder. My primary doctor referred me here because I have chronic symptoms of autoimmune disorder with blood tests that are always borderline normal. I waited months for the appointment and was eager to finally get some answers and/or relief. Instead the doctor kept saying “why are you here? Your blood looks fine.” He dismissed all my symptoms and refused to run more tests. Dr. Jackson is awesome! He goes above and beyond the call of duty. He triumphs with his active listening skills & explains things so that the average layperson can understand. Dr. Jackson is highly knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic, compassionate and has a great sense of humor! I always seem to leave his office feeling better than when I came in. Dr. Jackson spent over an hour with me and was incredibly thorough in his examination and questioning. He has a wealth of knowledge that he shares in a way that’s easy to understand. I felt comfortable asking questions and sharing my experiences. Highly recommend.
