Medical Field Failing us yet again… Called prior to see if I could be seen. Context type 1 diabetic and my infusion sites keep getting infected so I switched to shots. I show up and they state someone can talk to be but they do don’t LABS of any sort. So they’ll probably refer me to the ER Just a heads up NO LABS, NO BLOODWORK ETC FAN BE DONE HERE. Wish they would of just said that before I drove 20 min out
Very friendly and professional team at this urgent care center. Short wait and quick work by the care team.
Never had such an unprofessional, unhelpful interaction with medical staff. I was told to check in at the loaction from a telehealth check in. Staff member at the desk was short tempered and seemed to get upset with each piece of information that needed to be updated. Once in the back staff was dismissive and was more preoccupied with a insect in the room than with speaking to me. Exceptional Walk-in Care in Kalamazoo!I highly recommend visiting the Bronson QuickCare Plus location at 940 John St. instead of the main Emergency Room for non-emergencies.I initially visited to get a chest X-ray for a suspected virus, but because my pulse was elevated, I needed an EKG and bloodwork. The staff got me in immediately, did the testing right in the triage room, and called ahead to the ER to coordinate my transfer.Even though it was a very busy day, I was seen efficiently.
