Dr. Russell was a complete jerk to me. He spent no more than 5 minutes seeing me, reviewing my chart, and looking at my shoulder. When I told him I try to avoid taking medicine if I can and I couldn't do an MRI because I have panic attacks, he said, and I quote, "Wow, you are really inconveniencing me being able to treat you." I am not even kidding. I'm sorry my panic attacks are getting in the way of you treating me. Drove all the way from Grand Rapids to see an orthopedic specialist, and the guy sat me down for 2 minutes and just told me to get an MRI. Did not give me any paperwork to give to my boss about my work injury case, did not schedule any follow-up, did not give me a referral to have the MRI done, and when I asked to be given paperwork for any of these things, I was told to just leave because they could not give me anything. Dr. Burkhardt replaced my knee. I’ve not had any problems with him, his staff or my knee. I would call in for pain medication and medication was always at the pharmacy waiting for me to pick up. I’ve been to Battle Creek and Marshall office. I almost always get to appointments early and usually are taken to a room before my appointment time. Don’t believe I’ve ever waited in a room for more than 10 minutes. Staff at Marshall office is friendlier than Battle Creek. But then I go to Marshall office more. My boyfriend was referred there for carpal tunnel which he had been diagnosed with from another Dr he had already had the EMG in his hands is we went in there thinking that issue was going to be taken care of. Were we ever wring, Dr Smith didn't even want to hear aboutcarpal tunnel because my boyfriends hands weren't numb at the moment. I wish there was an option for less than one star. my process of dealing with the Bronson group from beginning to end was horrific from there lack of information given to me throughout the whole process. from a misdiagnosed issue on my hand that was found was this only found out after my surgery. Not only was my problem misdiagnosed post surgery no one told me what they actually did so I had to make a number of phone calls to a hold of someone who could give me an answer with any information at all.
