We had a great experience with Taylor on the raptor tour! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating at Broken Paddle. Tandem kayaks were reserved for us and great pointers were given before we started. We were lucky enough to see two eagles nests and then a bald eagle up close on our tour! I definitely recommend booking a tour if you want to paddle a scenic route with friendly and knowledgeable paddlers!
Our group had a great time kayaking on the Mississippi! The guides, was very informative on the history, wildlife and landscape of the area. Broken Paddle was so easy to book/set up our kayaking times with. I really appreciated their communication efforts to make our kayaking adventure happen! Took the Raptor tour today with my 9 year old. It was wonderful!! Amazing and kind tour guide who answered allll of my child’s questions, and went above and beyond to give us a great experience. The tour was relaxing and beautiful!
Yesterday was my 3rd time out with Broken Paddle- every trip has been SO much fun but the Flooded Forrest tour has been my favorite. Taylor, Michael, & Finn were excellent guides and so much fun to hang out with - highly, highly recommend this company, their tours, and their guides!!
We have gone on two tours with this company and will definitely make it an annual tradition. Last summer we went on the Sunset Tour with Taylor and this year went on the Flooded Forest Tour with Taylor and Michael. They are both kind, laid back, and very knowledgable and passionate about the area. If you like being on the water, you will love touring with this company.
