Great alternative to Supercuts!! Hey, I didn't know about the student discount!!! Thanks, guys below, for letting me know (I didn't get one in the past--and trying to pay my way through grad school, I could really use it...). This IS a cool little place. The guy who did my hair listened to what I want and even showed me on a ruler how much he was going to take off. Nice haircuts for very reasonable price I got my hair cut here for four years while I was living in New Haven. James is the owner and main sytlist, and he gives a great cut and blowdry for a very reasonable price. He's very flexible and takes walk-ins. The salon is very centrally located, right above the York Square theater on Broadway in New Haven (1 block up from York and Elm). There is a student discount available, so let him know if you're a student when you make your appointment.
Experience & Know-How 'Broadway Hair' is a cool little place to get a haircut. The owner is a good guy who has a lot of experience and know-how, always up to date on new styles and whatnot. The salon is in a great location, right next to 'Cutler's CDs' in New Haven. The salon itself is spacy and cool and well kept. The owner / hairstylist will also give you a discount if you're a student. Even without that, the rates already are very reasonable and you're sure to get a quality haircut. Cool salon!
Best Cut I ever had James gave me the best cuts I ever had. I went there for 4 years while I was at Yale. He gave me an awesome angle cut with layers on long hair I was always satisfied. I miss going there . KC
Awesome Haircut for a Reasonable price I started going to broadway hair a few months ago at a friends recommendation. I was NOT disappointed! Everyone there is good at what they do,They are patient with you and actually pay attention to what you want.The prices are very reasonable and you come out feeling good about yourself..What more can you want?!?
