Reuben was awesome as was the cheeseburger. Didn't even have to put mauo, mustard or ketchup on it. Awesome
Yes, there's The Stretch and yes, you ate there a lot, often under the influence, in college. But while they cover their diner bases with top-notch pancakes, donuts, burgers and shakes, The Broadway Diner is sneaky good as a legit, adult restaurant too. They probably have the best lineup of sandwiches in town - especially the Coop and the Plucky Ducc. The lunch specials will surprise you. They serve local eggs upon request (but at no additional cost). The place, of course, is chock full of personality.
Love the food. My favorite is the Stretch. Been going to the Broadway Diner (and its predecessor, The Minute Inn) since my graduate student days (1964 - 1968). Personally know the Johnson's. Great people
great food and even better people! that's all that really needs to be said but apparently i can't leave a comment unless it's at least 50 characters long. Try the Diner out, it's great!
