TLDR: avoid this apartment at all costs This apartment may at first looks attractive with its location, but trust me, none of that outweights the massive physical and mental damages to you living here. #1 Absolutely no heat in winter The rooms are freezing during winters. The AC units are completely ineffective at generating heat. The buidling-wide heating system turns on ONLY when it’s below 0 Celsius or 32 F (yes, it is off even when it’s barely 0.5 celsius or 33 F). The new management came and utilities doubled. No explanation and no resolution. See the facts before making your choice. PS: In Broadview, individual water & sewer charges are determined by dividing the total consumption on the property between the residents regardless of how much you personally use. If there is a leakage somewhere that the management did not address, it will be reflected in your bill and become your responsibility.
