I had a scheduled appointment. I was already an established patient. I confirmed the appointment. My insurance never changed. I drove 2 hours. I check in and presented my insurance card, at which time the receptionist looked at it and asked my why I was there? I said why. My annual. She told me my insurance does not cover that service and they cannot see me. They told me the insurance will not pay them. Great doctors and nurses at this facility! However, the rude receptionist was an ongoing problem for me. I thought it was just me or a coincidence at first but each visit and phone call with them was worse than the last. The receptionist alone ruined the experience most days. I hope this office gets this changed soon considering receptionists are the first people we interact with before nurses and the doctors and can set the whole mood for a patient’s experience.
