I was there with the Vernon Jones Blues Cartel.. Briquettes Smokehouse was an awesome venue and the people of Ashtabula are so friendly. It was a place for people of all ages Coming together to enjoy some really smoking blues!!! They made the evening rock for sure!!

Love the new place and new menu items! My husband and I have had BBQ all over the world... we're kind of BBQ aficionados... and Briquette is hands down the best. If you live within 1,000 miles of the place you should go!
Updating my review again because Briquettes has certainly redeemed themselves (from bumming me out this past summer by taking away my favorite melt sandwich with the exception of one day a week on the menu) by serving that amazing Pork En Fuego Sandwich! I decided to give it a try this evening and I certainly wasn't let down - This amazing sandwich is so damn full of flavor (and quite a bit of heat) that it's now my new favorite...
