Brought my 15 y! In I woke up to her screaming on Easter Sunday, there was no calming her down or distracting her. I was sure I was taking her in to ease her pain by euthanasia. But she was dehydrated, had an infection. She had IV. Fluids antibiotics excellent care. And is home now. Now if Her brother will forgive me and let me pet him... lol. Thanks BEBT!
If you go there to put your pet to sleep, they will take advantage of your vulnerability. Nickel and diming every little thing. Also, at the end they said they were giving our dog a sedative for relax her before putting her down, but instead they gave her way too much and she completely fell unconscious, preventing us from saying a heartfelt goodbye. It was not at all the experience we wanted for our last interaction with our dog.
They were great, from the Vet Tech to the Vet. I would recommend them in a second. Plus I learned how to take a cat's blook pressure.
Staff could have been a little more friendlier but Dr. Berger was awesome and made me feel at ease since this is my first time raising a kitten to a cat! He was very patcient as well as understanding with my pre vet jitters. I undertsand it's the only place open 24/7 for emergencies but for heavens sake it was quite exspensive. I would recommend going somewhere on the outskirts of Iowa city like Hills or Solon maybe. They tend to be a lot more affordable although the drive is a bummer.
We were seen the same day that we were referred by our local vet, for an echocardiogram for our cat. Dr. Berger and his assistant were incredibly helpful and gave phenomenal care to our furbaby! Thank you thank you!
Thank you to the Staff of Bright Eyes and Bush Tails. Saturday night we brought our 7 yr old Chocolate lab Cooper in to see you since he was not feeling well. The compassion the Dr. and his assistant shown to us as we discussed the options was top notch. Discussed the pricing and the best options. They gave us time to say good bye to our Big Sweetie. I have only heard of this Emergency vet clinic until two weeks ago my 20+ y.o cat Princess broke her leg and I brought her in, for their help. After an exam and options discussed, unfortunately we had to put her down. With this hard day they were with me every step of the way. It was a horrible day but I always will remember their kindness and compassion. Thank ladies you were wonderful.
