My review reflects my experience 2021-2023. Providers and staff were nice enough and I got the care I needed, but reason for 3-Star review is based on the practice (not the providers!!): I myself was a Brigham IM resident when I was here. I waited 8-months to be scheduled with one of the MDs here only to be switched to a PA new to the practice the week before without my consent. Dr. Luftman is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. He’s incredibly caring, thoughtful, and thorough, and truly takes the time to listen. In a healthcare system that often feels rushed and broken, he’s a rare gem. I trust him so much that I’ve gotten my whole family to see him — and the fact that he accepted them even when he wasn’t technically taking new patients speaks volumes about who he is. The phlebotomy lab here is convenient and not crowded, hence two stars. The phlebotomist who was also at the front desk was incredibly rude. My doctor had forgotten to order labs so I had to come in to repeat and she said she didn’t understand, turned the screen to me, and asked me to show her which labs she should run. I explained that I didn’t attend medical school so couldn’t help her. She was curt, unpleasant and seemed angry at me for my physician’s mistake. The receptionist I spoke with was incredibly disrespectful when I just called 5 minutes ago. I was trying to get in touch with the women’s health department and I guess I had accidentally called the wrong number. The lady on the phone was treating me like I was an idiot and when I asked the receptionist if she had the correct phone number she hung up on me. I’m not even a patient at this clinic but now I know for sure that I never will be.
