I love that Brigham & Women's Hospital includes integrative services within Nursing. I offer Reiki every Friday to Staff and patients at Brigham & Women's hospital, and it is beautiful. Everyone benefits from it. Reiki balances the mind and the body, accelerates healing, and is very relaxing. My adult daughter just spent 3 days there and had excellent care. Unfortunately the lack of communication before her admission was deplorable. She went from almost being transferred by ambulance to waiting almost a month to get admitted. The communication between 2 different departments was horrible. When they say "I will check and call you right back" it means nothing! They really have to get their act together as far as communication. Even as an in-patient, there was lack of communication from the docs to the nurses.
Worse hospital in Boston. Very dissatisfied with the service and care.
