Do not take your loved ones here. DO NOT. You will end up moving them out. We had a horrible experience along with 3 other families that had to rescue their loved ones out of there. They absolutely traumatized my mom, they tried to coach her what to say- and the most heinous of crimes- Lying to our families. They bold-face lied to me about my moms care, for no reason at all. My father spent the last 14 months of his life at Bridlemile. Previously, he lived for six years in an excellent 100+ resident assisted living facility in Eugene. What had been excellent was broken by the pandemic and labor shortage. Staff turnover increased and understaffing became chronic. At the same time, my father was weakening and required more care which was exactly what assisted living facilities struggled to provide. Our first impression was wonderful. We thought it would be a great place for my grandma. The night care costs were a concern, as the night care hours are an 11 hour block from 8:30pm to 7:30am. I asked for a breakdown of how she arrived at her quote and never received one, so we found a better fit. She didn’t think my gram was a good fit for her home and never told us until we called for a refund. When we called for a refund, she said she didn’t need our money after reminding her the state rules do not allow her to keep a de... read more
