Was forced to come here once at 16 where I was told I have no anxiety and I am a spoiled brat. Then was handed a card to text the therapist for anything, which they swore I would use and never did. I don’t know a single person that would recommend coming here. I felt degraded and completely unheard when I went, and that therapist allegedly was in charge of some program for kids without dads, to learn how to do man things. I wish I could make this up. Absolutely a wonderful group of people. Everyone is so helpful and friendly.
.How are you going to tell a prospective patient who is asking you for help that you can't help them no more without even seeing them or speaking to them personally? I came to ask for help and I was refused and no one spoke to me personally my husband was trying to arrange everything for me because I get anxious and panicky when I have to talk to ANYONE including my family on the phone. In my opinion that is not very ethical to refuse someone who is aking for help.
This place is awful! At the front desk of a mental health center you would think you wouldn’t be treated so poorly.
Very bad experience! I have never been treated so rudely. I thought Mississippi had changed but to have a therapist still working after 50 yrs wayyy past retirement this is what”s expected. Do not go here if you are of the wrong ethnic background.🤷🏽♀️
