I was lucky enough in 2018 to get my hands on (and fingers into) my first of Bridget's artworks. It has given me something special, something different over many years, and likely to continue for many more. A beautiful treasure that is based on ideas of the awful issues of coal. And a few years later another one of hers has been acquired, this time a completely different artwork, a Key Ring. Brilliant in how playfully and professionally it plays on the many important ideas that shape our world.
I can’t recommend Bridget more highly. She is a talented and inspiring artist who is so generous with her time and knowledge. She guided me through the process of using reclaimed family gold to make a bangle which I cherish. I hope to be able to make more jewellery with her patient guidance in the future. The pieces Bridget makes are also incredibly beautiful and reflect her thoughts and values wonderfully.
Bridget crafted a beautiful modern gold pendant from a100yr old brooch that had belonged to my Grandmother for me to give to a younger relative as a special birthday present. What a wonderful sustainable way to pass heirlooms on to the next generation.
