Something for Every Bride I took off a star for the small dressing rooms (which aren't TOO bad, but compared to other salons, they are pretty small). Yes, it isn't the most attractive building, but then again most bridal salons aren't. One other negative thing about the Bridal Gallery is that they don't allow you to take pictures in each dress, so you have to kind of bootleg them (as in discreetly take non-flash photos in the small dressing rooms... hey, it works for me). Poor service I've been doing business with this company for the past 9 months and have had nothing but problems. I brought in 5 girls who bought their dresses AND shoes there and when problems arose with 2 of the dresses, it would've been all 5 had my seamstress not been with me for 3 of them, they were adamant to not fix their mistake. One of my girls' dresses was 2 sizes too small. No she wasn't pregnant and no she didn't gain ANY weight. Huge selection and all sizes in stock! I have loved the time I have spent at Bridal Gallery! I have been there 3 times now, and I know that I am going to be getting my brides maid dresses there. There is also a good chance that I will get my wedding gown there also! I have been treated very well by the staff! At first I was hesitant to ask for anything, but then I really warmed up to the staff. When I walked in, they greeted me right away and proceeded to explain how the store was set up. Give them a try!!!
Would recommend My wife was pleasantly surprised with Bridal Gallery. She went in looking for Bridesmaid dresses and was able to spend alot of time trying on dresses without being hasseled. The employees were friendly, the store was neat and orderly. They had a great selection of different styles of dresses. Parking is at a premium and you have to park behind the store.
Large selection, bad service. I went here looking for a wedding dress. I tried on several. They do not let you try on anything yourself, which I usually don't have a problem with, but the room is like 3x3 and there is no room for 2 people! They also refuse to tell you the designer of any dress until you buy it! That is ridiculous, some designers are worth a lot more. Wedding Dresses This is a good place to find a wedding dress dispite the fact that the store looks really dumpy from the outside and is not that nice inside either. Their selection and friendly service helps to make up for the lack of the store appearance. The dressing rooms are small and have only a curtain to change behind.
Iffy My sister bought her wedding dress from Bridal Gallery for her April 2005 wedding. She had a great experience with this store.
Bridal Gown and Bridesmaid Dresses - A I purchased my bridal gown and ordered my 3 bridesmaids dresses here. My gown was perfect. I bought off the rack on layaway. The bridesmaid dresses were ordered from Mori Lee and they came in on time and as ordered. Store is open convenient hours, centrally located to all areas of Greater Grand Rapids, and the best part is that they have all sizes in stock to try on, so if you're not a perfect 4 they have tons of styles in every size to try on.
Customer Service ISNT #1 I had to go here to get fitted for a dress for a friends wedding and was not treated with the best service. I had heard others talk about this but thought may be it was an overexaggeration. It wasn't. The women behind the counter didn't seem to eager to help. If you need a dress I wouldn't recommend this place, there are others out there that will treat you better.
