RecommendedThis is a very neat town to explore and if you’re into old architecture and like the old school feel this is perfect. Great food around town. Rooms were pretty clean, we had to wait a bit but overall the stay was great
Has history, rooms upstairs restaurant downstairs
The rooms were shabby. Screens on windows all broken. Not very clean.
The full sized bed leaves a bit to be desired but it was comfy! Who doesn’t love an Old Hotel!

A place for rest and comfort
This is a lovely old fashioned hotel, which means short on a few comforts. Built in 1763 it has uneven MC Escher-like stairways. We stayed on the third floor in a charming room with a shower/jacuzzi (I always feel weird using showers without curtains but that’s just me I guess). A few shampoos and soaps are included but we were annoyed to find only one cup provided in the room (we went out to get ice and drinks).
