Don’t move here a long time ago my walls were leaking every time it would rain and it took them weeks to come and fix it. And then I think the wood in my apartment is rotting. My cabinet came off and that was weeks ago about two weeks ago, they haven’t come to fix it. They won’t fix the little things they won’t fix the large things they’ll take your rent and fix everything after weeks of badgering. It will literally take them 20 minutes don’t you want to know if the wood is rotting
Literally rats in the ceiling I found dead rats outside near the dumpster and the week before I moved out, I heard rats in the ceiling. The area has a pest issue. The management was helpful in the beginning but in the end the move out process was horrible. The A/C was broken for my last few days which lead to harsh moving conditions. So many communities in the area, go elsewhere.
A/C leaking issues Poor, but poor maintenance. A\C leak goin on for 22 days now. Leaks is inside the bathroom. I have submitted 7 work orders request and nothing gets done.

Too many issues I've been here a little over a month. My experience so far has been horrible. The application process was pretty easy but that was about it.When we 1st moved in our washer didn't work. I was told i would have to call and schedule an appointment with the maker due to covid. Just to have whirlpool come out a week later and say its something briarwood would have to fix. Guess something was wrong with the outlet. Briarwood fixed it but also left a huge hole in the wall saying a contractor would be by to fix it. H... read more
Leaking walls I’ve had leaking walls for 3 weeks and I guess they don’t consider that an emergency and they don’t respond to your emails. Also I tried to leave a message for an emergency but that doesn’t work so if you have an emergency you are so screwed
So far so good! The people at Briarwood was very helpful when it came down to me moving into my first apartment. If i have questions they are always willing to answer them the best way they can. The apartments are nice inside and out. I recommend everyone check them out!

NOT move in ready! I was supposed to be a tenant here, but when it was time for my move in day, my apartment was NOT ready. My mother who was helping me,we walked into my apartment and it was just heartbreaking. There's a full list of so much that needed to be done. Stains on cabinets, mold in the living room window, holes in the screen, bathroom cabinet had hair, private patio landscape was not done, etc. It was an extremely disappointing experience because I had Uhaul with all my stuff ready to settle into my new home. Great Value and amazing staff !!!! You get what you pay for here in the best way ! Rents in Houston are out of control and here you get a decent apartment at a decent price its very fair for what your payimg for , I will say the unit vary and your experience depends on the unit just ask to pick your unit inspect it and get one you like , crime is everywhere in a city so just whatever and roches are just houston so be clean and ask for weekly treatment which they will do every monday if asked ..
