I was Dr. Ticoll patient for 10+ years. Didn’t find him to be compassionate or a good listener. Always pushing medication & not really assessing why I was feeling like I was. Also, relied on hospitalized approach. Finally had to advocate for myself & convince him to refer me to a in house 2 month treatment centre. He reluctantly did. After that, I found a new psychiatrist I was happy with. Cant give my recommendation for future patients

Terrible Doctor, very rude. Constantly speaking over you or cutting you off. No bedside manner and no compassion. Patient's overall well-being not the focus. Very disappointed.
He is absolutely horrendous. I would rather suffer in silence, then to spend one more minute with him. Avoid all costs, he does not treat you as a human. Remember, you can fire your psychiatrist. 0/10
I can see why everyone is complaining b/c he gives and teaches "tough love"! If you expect to be mothered or fathered by him, good luck wrong doctor to work your recovery on! He is tough which I like that shows me for room to work on myself. The medicine that he prescribes is to mother or father your illness. Advice from him or insight is investment conditioning that you work on like the meds that he gave you on your own time and own discrepancy.
