I had been having difficulty with my L hip since my late 20s. Pain meds, injections, Physical therapy over and over again. I had a repair done and it did not fix it. No one wanted to do a Hip Replacement due to my age. Finally Dr. Maurer got it done and I cannot believe the difference in pain in that hip. It is amazing. Dr. Maurer is very knowledgeable! Skilled! Wonderful bedside manner and down to earth! He's the best!
Granted it is the first day after my anterior hip joint replacement, but Peoria is very fortunate to have this surgeon. He’s right to the point, has a great sense of humor, and just an all around great guy. Also I need to give a shout out to St. Francis hospital, everyone there from the information girl all the way through surgery, were absolutely fantastic!! Give yourself a huge pat on the back folks! You all exceeded my expectations.
