Dr. Dave, who is my general ophthalmologist, removed my left cataract yesterday-replaced with a far sighted IOS. The whole experience at the Tigard surgery center was smooth. I was fairly anxious and the staff, from check in to the nurses, including the nurse anesthetist, helped allay my fears. The whole procedure was painless and took less than about 15 minutes. Today I had my follow up and I’m pleasantly surprised that my eyesight is improved already. Highly recommend Dr. Dave for any eye care.
Efficient check in and spacious waiting room. My annual checkup after having had macular eye surgery a few years ago.
I felt unheard as she brushed off how I felt and focused on how my cataracts aren't bad enough to really bother me. I wasn't looking for basic problem solving like 'wear your glasses' (gee, really?). She's knowledgeable but could use a refresher course on manners.
Doctor is positive and explained issues going on. Gives good feedback and listens to questions.
Office is small but very efficient. Staff & Dr. Gebhardt are warm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. If you live in Portland or the surrounding areas, I'd highly recommend this office.
