My wife and I both used Dr. Brian Kubo as our dentist for the many years we lived on the Big Island. He seemed competent and knowledgable. However after our move back to the mainland, we were disappointed to find so much of his work substandard. In particular, Dr. Kubo "manufactures" crowns on a machine in his office, instead of sending them out to a dental laboratory. Love this dentist and all his helpers! I had a great cleaning today, plus the hygienist gave me a sample of a cleaning tool I haven't used before.
We went to Dr. Kubo a few years ago and he was amazing. They had our favorite receptionist (Christina), she was amazing!!! Today, we call and there was a “CHERYL”? She was difficult and had no empathy. My wife had an emergency situation and she basically told us we will be treated as new patients since the last time we went to them was in 2016. But, they aren’t accepting new patients. WTH?!?!!! I asked her so you’re recommending us to find another doctor? She said, no, we just don’t have room for new patients. Uhmm… WHAT?!?!... read more
