Dr. Gogel was recommended by my PCP and before calling him, my wife and I checked him out as best that we could. My PCP suspected a small growth on my pancreas and we knew pancreatic cancer is usually fatal. Dr. Gogel set up more definitive tests and was able to set up and appointment with another excellent doctor skilled in sampling the growth which tested benign. follow up tests showed no growth so we are currently in a monitoring stage to confirm there is no further growth. Dr. Gogel has done all three of my surgeries. The most recent was this year. He always takes time to explain the procedure, and answer any questions. On the day of my surgery he and his team were amazing. His office is easy to make an appointment with and everyone is always friendly. I highly recommend him and his team!

Busy doctor but on time with his appointments. Came highly recommended and gave straight answers. Problem was a tumor next to the pancreas showing up on scans and recommended a Dr. Scree... who was skilled at getting a biopsy which came back benign so now observing to be sure it is not growing. Very informative, and we did do on-line searches which confirmed the diagnoses. Very happy with Dr. and staff.
He does not spend much time with you but there is an absolute confidence he knows exactly what he is doing and I am at peace with his surgery before and after.
Dr. Gogel is a fantastic surgeon! He completely removed all the cancerous tissue that was attached to my pancreas and was able to save a portion to help with my diabetes treatment. His bedside manner is amazing and delightful! I can’t believe how fortunate I was to be connected to him in my time of need. I would definitely recommend him for any surgery needed.
