I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor. Husband went in for a sciatica shot from him. That didn’t give him any relief and pain was actually WORSE after. Went in for a follow up and said the results of an MRI said he had a herniated disk. When we asked what a herniated disc was exactly, he said a disc that was herniated. Dr. Shapiro listens and work with the Patients to get them on the road to recovery. Cristina his PA goes above and Beyond to get all paperwork and progress info to all parties requiring updates.
Called to make an appointment due to a fall. Got scheduled same day. Arrived 30 min u tes prior to appointment and knew I would have to wait because they were adding me in. Had a very good visit and the Dr. And staff were so nice and took great care of me.
Dr. Weatherford performed a total ankle replacement on my husband. It is 4 days later and he has little to zero pain. A good surgeon leaves their patients with little pain. I find what he did miraculous and it was one of his hardest cases to date.
She flew in and out of the office only speaking to me when her back was to me looking at my xray. No explanation of proposed treatment. I literally had to ask her to wait before leaving the room so I could ask a question. I was treated rudely by the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute when I asked a question about my bill. I was charged for a 45 to 59 minute office visit. There is no way I received that total time. Made me wonder if they are maximizing insurance payout. I will never return there.
I get regular injections
Doctor Logue is a great doctor. I have had two knee replacement’s and shoulder repair by him. I would recommend him 100%. I trust him and his staff to the fullest. Best orthopedic doctor around.
I had misgivings about doing my knee replacement in a hospital as small as Hayward. Now, I wouldn't have it done anywhere else. Dr. Donohue is an extremely well experienced and competent surgeon. Everything about the procedure was done perfectly, and may I say, painlessly. Although he was indeed friendly, I left with no solution. If you need something more aggressive, he might be ok. If you are experiencing medium and consistent pain from a permanent issue, try to find someone who wants to offer some kind of realistic solution that might help. Everything he listed was aggressive and not necessary for medium pain which we both agreed on. He only knows how to manage extreme pain. It would have been good to leave with any sort of real option, which I did not.
