My 14 year old broke his wrist playing soccer. Dr. Hoepfner was kind, direct and a calming influence for my son throughout the process. He was positive and personable and brought a healing result on time and on target!!
15 years post surgery, still feeling great. Thanks Dr. Fisher
If you need a hip, Dr. Schwartz is your guy. I got two, a year apart. He is very understanding and listens well. He answers your questions. He does an anterior approach so healing is pretty quick. I could have gone home from the hospital the day of surgery, but opted for an overnight stay. He also is flexible with scheduling and his team is excellent.
I was referred to IBJI by an urgent care facility after I broke my ankle in several places. They assured me when making my appointment that I should see Dr Kaz. He was straightforward, gave me reasonable expectations for my recovery and performed my extensive surgery. He also has a great humor to him which I appreciate. I’m 3 and a half months past surgery and walking 10,000 steps a day with no pain. He’s a miracle worker. My scar is minimal and I’m back to regular movement. I can’t say enough about him, his compassion, his ... read more
Dr David Hamming has done knee and shoulder surgery on my husband and 2 knee replacements on my mom. We have been seeing him for about 10 years. His knowledge and communication of issues are easily explained and understood. He takes the time to listen and offers many options for treatment, not just rushing to surgery. I have referred him to anyone that asks me for a good ortho Dr.
Dr. Fisher performed a C3-C7 laminoplasty on me in December 2020. During surgery, he caused a Cranial Spinal Fluid (CSF) leak by perforating my spinal canal and did not disclose this to me afterward. During months of subsequent "thunderclap" headaches, he continued to deny that I had this disorder. After landing in an ER with tremors, extreme pain, loss of bladder control, etc., it was learned through the original surgical records that a perforation was caused during the original surgery, and an attempt was made to repair it... read more
Horrible bedside manners.
I was referred tovDr Erulkar for a herniated disk. After the first surgery, I was in horrible pain, I could not walk and he gave me very mild pain meds. I was screaming in pain and I am tough. He never told me he had pierced the dura, the fluid around the spine but said I needed another surgery. So I had a second one, still same pain. I finally went to a neurosurgeon who knew what was wrong immediately. I needed a third surgery to fix what Erulkar messed up.
Dr. Swartz is very personable and answers all of your questions, but more important he is a GREAt technician! You want to walk away from your surgery with a minimal amount of pain and a good outcome: I had a knee replacement last month and he did a great job!
