As has always been in my experience , Dr Mullikan was fantastic, as were all supporting staff members .
Dr. Mulliken replaced my right hip and did an excellent job. Answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the post-op restrictions. Staff were easy to reach by phone for questions. Would use him again for any future joint issues.
Had two knee replacements: July & November. Surgery & recovery for both went extremely well. Dr. M. explained procedures fully so I knew exactly what to expect from start to finish.
Kind, friendly and very skilled surgeon, this was second joint replacement with Dr. Mulliken with 18 months. I highly recommend him if you are considering joint replacement of the knee or hip.
I interviewed 3 Drs prior to receiving two separate referrals to dr. Mulliken. He is a calm, sincere and thorough professional that makes the whole process of Hip Replacement very straightforward and less stressful. My outcomes were a)off pain meds and tylenol before the end of week one, b) little swelling and bruising and c) pain resolved the morning after surgery- after years of tightness, soreness and joint pain, I woke up the next day to nothing but the surgery soreness which is a relief.
I am so happy with my hip replacement. I am recovering and doing well. I am glad I chose Dr Mulliken.The only thing I would do differently is to individualize doctor’s orders after surgery as I reacted to the amount of aspirin recommended to prevent DBT. I wish I had the surgery earlier as I am now pain free with the new hip.
I had a double hip replacement in March. Dr. Mulliken was awesome as was the staff at towson ortho and St Joes hospital. If you need a joint replacement he is your guy! My life has been changed as I could barely walk before. :)
Dr Mulliken replaced both knees at the same time. I couldn’t ask for s better outcome. I was in terrible pain & had much difficulty walking. Just 10 weeks after my surgery I was on the dance floor pain free & having a blast. I highly recommend him
Have had Dr Mulliken perform both my hip replacements - he was highly recommended by other doctors and friends. Great surgeon. Very practical demeanor; straightforward, but compassionate. Go to consult with questions ready; the doctor will explain everything concisely. As a patient you are responsible also. Staff is always so busy, but friendly and take their time with you. If you have an issue talk directly to the doctor or his staff - the issue will be addressed.
