I’m extremely grateful to have such a professional, attentive, and experienced neurologist. Throughout my journey as his patient, he has shown genuine care and concern. He is always one step ahead, making sure I stay on top of appointments, procedures, blood work, and everything else needed for my care. He also takes the time to explain my neurological issues clearly, making sure I truly understand what’s going on. I feel very fortunate to be in his care and highly recommend him!

I had a very disappointing experience trying to become a patient of this doctor. His office would not allow me to schedule an appointment directly unless I called on Monday or Thursday mornings when, according to the staff, the schedule “opened up.” The scheduling process was also confusing and one-directional: the office would contact you, but you were then required to communicate with central scheduling to actually arrange the appointment. I had a very positive appointment with Dr. Brian D. Barry. He truly listened to my concerns about changes in my cognitive abilities and how they are affecting me as I get older. I also appreciated how receptive and supportive he was when I discussed my plans to explore SSDI and FERS disability retirement.
