Had a very angry tendon in my left ankle which did not improve much after 6 months. Saw Dr. Wade and decided on the PRP injection. Wasn't covered my by insurance, but ended up being money very well spent. While the injection ended up being very painful, at about 2 weeks it felt like it had before I got it. By 2 months it was significantly better. By 4 months I don't even think about it except on occasion to stop and remember how I wasn't able to recently do something I found myself doing. Very happy with how it turned out.
I am sorry I ever visited Dr Wade. My one visit consisted one shot in my toe. Which did not help. I was told she couldn't help me. I paid my deductible to satisfy my insurance obligation in which she was "in network". Since then I have been harassed by her billing department, despite my insurance company sending her letters saying I had met my financial obligation. This has been going on for almost a year. This team is excellent. My wife had a recent seizure and fall resulting in a fractured ankle. They saw us late in the day and kept the practice open to take care of her.
Dr. Wade is a good doctor, so it is with a heavy heart, I write this review; but her front desk person Heather is a not a nice person. It’s been a painful time. I’ve been in and out of urgent care, as she made it clear she knew better than three other doctors. I’m exhausted with the pain.
