Took my daughter to see him as he was the only pediatric rheumatologist in the Knoxville area. He would not listen to concerns, he was dismissive of symptoms, he claimed certain symptoms were not related to her disease, even though I know it was from personal experience with my own rheumatologist for the same disease. He could not get us out of his office fast enough. In the future I will make the drive to take her somewhere else.
Dr. Smith has decided to take cash only from patients. He makes more money that way. I have insurance that pays for everything. He still will not see me. I was his patient but I am not rich enough to be one now. I wonder what Jesus thinks of a doctor who finds money more important than poor people.
Wow, I wish every physician practiced like this! Spent an hour with me getting a thorough history and physical, and actually listened to me instead of looking at a laptop the entire time. I didn’t feel rushed and I felt as if he truly wanted to find an appropriate diagnosis for what I have been experiencing.
