From my first visit with Dr. Parra I was impressed. He is a "people person" with a sincere devotion for his clients. He has a great personality and truly cares. I am very happy I was able to get him as my Dr.
Dr. Parra is very personal, professional and thorough. I always appreciate my appointments with him and his concern about my health.
Follow up appointment for a kidney stone. Dr Parra is very professional, direct and to the point. Fun to interact with, but because he has so many appointments he can’t spend very much time with each patient. He gets it done though, and I appreciate being under his continued care very much.
I would not ever recommend this doctor. Always late and not enough time in the office. No bedside manner. Does not care about the patient’s interests and no does he take the time to review or explain the previous reports.
Excellent and professional care. I would recommend him to anybody, except my enemies, who do not deserve the very best!
A Great Experience. All Expectations, and more were met. Moved to Pensacola Sept 2019 with the realization my PSA score was high (2 total tests). My new primary care doctor in Pensacola ordered a test (3d Test), with a results slightly high, then recommended to a Baptist Hospital Urologist. One more test ordered by the Urologist at Baptist (4th Test), with results remaining slightly high. Due to the Pandemic, offices were closed. Affable and informative. Office and hospitalization visits don’t feel rushed and questions are answered with non medical analogies. Highly recommend .
Dr. Parra's well-known excessive vanity and arrogance seriously impair his knowledge and clinical practice. He likes to talk, but he does not like you to talk or ask too many questions (which he often does not listen to). You must do exactly what he says and not suggest any variation, or be labeled a trouble-maker. I foolishly stayed with him too long, despite the continued warnings from my medical friends. For your health, go to another urologist.
