Was referred to him for a colonoscopy by my PCP. He did an amazing job on the procedure. I did not feel a thing. Was so impressed with him and his entire staff.
I was looking for a new doc as my previous GI doc retired. Dr Kalmowitz had really great reviews and they were spot on. He was courteous and polite and smart. He spent time reviewing all my records and drawing the anatomy of the gallbladder and making sure I was understanding his thoughts.
I never thought I would describe my colonoscopy as a wonderful experience but Dr. Kalmowitz and his staff were fabulous. I am so pleased with the care I received. Plus, he probably saved my life by removing a polyp that was large and precancerous.
Saw him initially in the hospital and he was amazing. Sat down on the bed and talked with me and my family. So happy that I 'got' him on call and have seen him multiple times and although he is busy, he always finds time to sit and talk and listen and smile.
Dr Kalmowitz is patient, thorough, kind, and smart. I like him a lot. The staff has always been wonderful, personable and just plain nice.
I have been seeing Dr. Kalmowitz since 2009 when he found a tumor in my colon and cannot express how blessed I feel to have found such a great Dr. I have had GI problems my whole life and he has really helped keep my condition controlled.
I initially met dr kalmowitz in the hospital. He was wonderful as there was so much going on and he was very calm and helped explain everything and take care of me at my worst. I have now seen hm in the office and he is equally as thorough and I have great trust in him.
My husband and I see dr kalmowitz for a variety of issues. He is wonderful, never rushed and always with a smile. He has had a significant impact on our overall health and has 'saved our lives' - me with colon cancer and my husband with liver disease.
Dr. Kalmowitz is wonderful! He listens to everything that is going onsymptoms and life stuffremembers details, and is very reassuring. He is careful to check for everything without overprescribing procedures. He has always been quick to respond and help with whatever is going on. And he is fun to talk with. It has always been a pleasure to come and see him. He and his team even managed to make an endoscopy a pleasant experience!
