We've been to Brett Favre's Steakhouse several times. Overall the food was good as was the service. However, we do not consider the food a good value. We prefer other restaurants in the area.
Great Steaks & Service My first experience at Brett Favre's Steakhouse was great! The steak seasoning is out of this world! They also use a char-broiler on their steaks giving it even more flavor. The service was fantastic! Our server came over and explained the difference in each cut which really helped with our decision making. I found the experience well worth the price.
Brett's Steakhouse needs better oversight – My son and I ate here three times this weekend (lunch, tailgate brunch, dinner). We love Brett and the Packers. The food: The steaks are USDA Choice. Nothing special. I can get better meat at the local Costco. The seafood (we had a trout entre, oysters appetizer and crawfish sandwich) was dry, not fresh and juicy. Good food I had to eat here in order to complete my Green Bay experience. Before ordering the waitress brought out a platter of raw meats and fish, showing the different meat cuts they offer. The steak was fantastic, seasoned to perfection, although it was very expensive.
Not impressed I'm not sure what all the hype is about...Just the name? I was taken back when the waitress brought a tray of raw meats and fish to the table. I had chicken parmesian and it was awful. Too many spices overpowered the dish.
When we walked in, we didn't understand the nearly empty parking lot because the atmosphere and decor were outstanding. Then things took a turn for the worse. The server was inattentive and unknowledgeable. The food we ordered was not prepared the way we ordered it. (Don't you think a "steakhouse" would know how to prepare a steak medium-rare?) Over-priced and poor drinks – My wife and I stopped in for a pair of drinks. We ordered a martini and a bloody mary. I think the bill was almost $20. The martini was all muddled and the bloody mary looked like it was made with ketchup. Gosh, the place looks nice, but they can't make a drink to save their life! No thanks, I'll "pass", get it? (-:
Very Disappointing – Last night my husband and I went to Favre's for the first (and last) time. The decor is intimate and beautiful; white linens, nice stemware on the tables, perfect lighting.
