First of all let me say the office staff here is inceredible ! That being said I recently questioned a charge of $90 for a 15 minute appointment with Dr Scott Slingstock. I questioned as to why the appointment that I have tried to scedule on two different occasions (comp. dental exam) was changed to a quick x-ray and poke process, and a $90 bill, Instead of a response I got a "letter of termination" telling me that I or my family were no longer welcome to further "professional attendance at the facility". the employee at the front desk needs to be fired. I asked for an appointment yesterday and was asked if 10:00 was ok I said yes. I came in to find out they gave my spot to someone else not only that she told me she sent me an email stating she couldn't do it at that time and instead of sending me an email that day they send it the day of my appointment and they send me and email at 9:36 and my appointment is at 10:00. worst first experience ever I live in cedar so the drive wasn't cheap and I picked this place because my kid... read more

In my opinion, they focus on money over everything. They automatically steered me into a much more expensive treatment option even when I raised cost concerns, without them once mentioning that the procedure isn’t covered at all by my insurance plan. The woman who cleaned my teeth was also so aggressive with the tools that it caused a lot of pain the entire time - something I haven’t experienced at any other dentist.
