I started therapy with Brent little over 6 months ago. He's style is very casual and for me that is definitely helpful. There isn't a "here is how you fix all your problems" check-list but he is able to put things into a very manageable perspective for processing and I feel that I've made great progress with his help. He is very flexible which is helpful as I have two small children and things can change rapidly. I was desperately seeking a therapist, found him. First session thing first thing he did was get paperwork from me and took my payment for that day. I started to talk so he could get to know me and my background, what i had been dealing with, etc. The whole time he's looking completely lost and uninterested, checking his phone when it goes off, he asks 0 questions, writes nothing down, and has very little to say.
