Very busy at Medstar but staff and Dr. were very efficient and professional.
A very brief visit (5-7 minutes), but long enough to determine an MRI was needed. Brent Wiesel was pleasant and even tried to laugh at my silly comments.
Dr. Wiesel was professional, educational, and patient. I came to Dr. Wiesel for a second option after a confusing appointment at an outside facility. While I ended up with a similar treatment plan, the difference was in the knowledge and peace of mind that Dr. Wiesel provided me. He patiently answered all of my questions and made me feel heard rather than dumb for having questions in the first place. I found Dr. Wiesel to be skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. He has had rotator cuff surgery himself, and knows the patient's perspective. At our first consultation, he scheduled me for surgery as quickly as possible. Surgery went quickly and easily. At each post-surgery visit, he or a nurse answered all my questions, making me feel confident about my eventual full recovery.
