Omg this is a must try! It is delish we were so hesitant about going after trying Antoine's ( that will be another review) thinking it was another tourist trap. From the minute you walk in the staff is incredible, if you are there for an occasion they put a ribbon on your table depending on the occasion the color changes. My girlfriend and I were spending the day together in the French Quarter. We were wanting to have an amazing dinner. We both had heard the stories about Brennnan’s . But we had never gotten to go before. So we decided to go make a memory together. What a memorable experience it was! The food was the best you could ever hope for. And the service was unbelievable. I loved our morning spent here, the surroundings, the wait staff, the food, it was all amazing. Ate so much, that it took all day before o could even think of food again. If you have a special event to celebrate, than this is the place to do it, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!
My husband and I took our 14 year old grandson to New Orleans to see the WWII museum. He wanted bananas fosters at Brennan’s. He ordered a baked apple, eggs hussarde and of course bananas fosters. He was a very happy boy. We loved it also. Great experience.
My experience with Brennan's recently has been through events held there and "catered" at the restaurant. I simply cannot praise Brennan's highly enough. For a "group" dinner or luncheon, one thinks of "group" food. That is as far from my experience as night is from day. Inventive, flavorful, beautifully plated...oh yes, and absolutely delicious is how I would describe my experiences there. The serving staff was wonderful and very attentive. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them. Brennan's is a "class act."
Really great food! Best veal chop I’ve ever had. Totally worth it.
