Wonderful breakfast. All four of us loved our meal. I had the Eggs Cardinal and it was amazing. The Chicory Coffee was delightful and the service was superb. We'll definitely be back.
We've been before and love this restaurant. Last night was not its finest hour. We had a delay in getting the wine list. We asked for it 3 times and it finally arrived about 20 seconds before our appetizers. By the time the wine arrived, the apps were cold. The lateness continued with our red wine arriving about 5 minutes after the entrees did. Then, the first bottle was corked (we certainly don't blame the restaurant). Fantastic food and great service. They were very accommodating when we added people to our table.
We have been to Brennan's several times for dinner and brunch. The staff is very gracious, the food is amazing, and the service is spot on. Treat yourself...you won't be disappointed.
The grapefruit brûlée was divine. They also have a kids menu and colors to entertain the little one. A must-do!
This is our go to for breakfasts. Ask to be seated by the garden windows and enjoy the view. The breakfast choices and drinks are great. Don't miss out on the Bananas forster either.
Environment is a little stiff. If you like pompis folks you will be fine. Food is great.
Two staffers held the doors wide open as i approached. Staff said they do it because we customers " deserve it" if you walk past them they stop and move to the side to let you passs. Coffee is all prepared using french press which and STAYS HOT until you finish it. Best coffee I've ever had. And then the food was great on top of that. Best staff at any place hands down.
A local resident informed my husband that Brannen's carried Pappy Vanwinkle, a rare bourbon he had been wanting to try. I called to confirm, and we headed over. The bartender gave excellent service, and the drinks were delicious. I only wish we had known about it sooner so we could go back and visit for a meal. They have a beautiful courtyard dining area. Will definitely return next time we are in New Orleans.
