Sad decline of a once solid neighborhood establishment I have been going to the Colony with my family a couple times of month for the past 20 years and I am sorry to say I won't be back. The current crew of managers is clueless. In the past 6 months- - Our table was told that we would have to get our own drinks if we weren't ordering food. Good Drinks.... As a restaurant, I do not really recommend much on the menu, but they do server "bar food" in a generally appetizing manner. If you are looking to go out and a have a beer or two (or three) with a couple of friends, Brennan's Colony is an OK place to go.
Nice place to relax I have been to Brennan's Colony on a few occasions. During the day, this place is actually a good location for a family lunch/dinner and you will see other families with children at the location. In the evening, the scene changes, but it's a nice place to hang out with friends. The food is typical, but the kitchen is open late and the food/drinks are prices reasonably. It's hard to get service as they seem to be understaffed, but it's not a bad place to go.
Can't go wrong... – Cozy, friendly corner pub with awesome food. Great place to watch the game. They have quite a variety of food, not your typical bar fare. The best portabella sandwich I've ever had. Soups are like grandma's. You still can't go wrong with the burgers.
Served daily: chili and camaraderie, cold beer and sizzling entrees. – Not Your College Colony A decade ago, the Colony had a rep as a beer-and-shot John Carroll hangout. But when the bar changed ownership, it also began to reflect more accurately the demographics of its home turf: Cleveland Heights, a suburb known for its diversity.
